In the most perfect ironic juxtaposition, I recieved two emails this morning related to my participation in the Greek system.

Aaron Karo, a stand-up comic whose "Ruminations" column I have been reading since we were both seniors in college sent mail that his first DVD titled "Recovering Frat Boy" is now on sale at: http://RecoveringFratBoy.com.

Immediately following Aaron's mail in my inbox was a notice from the Executive Director of my national fraternity that their insurance group, the Fraternity Risk Management Trust or FRMT has updated their risk management policy.

What if Google decided to scrap its "Don't be Evil" and actually embraced "evil?" The guys at Wired have an interesting article about some of the technology they could build:

Google Murder - a matching system similar to Google Answers
Google Blackmail - upload evidence on Google Video and then change the permissions if not paid
Google Infidelity - Toolbar and desktop add-ins to clean-up client-side "evidence"
Google Nudity - based on image search

My bus got a ticket

Yesterday morning while riding the bus to work, I was suprised when the bus stopped in the middle of the highway. A minute later, I got a sense of what was going on when one of Redmond's stepped onto the bus. I guess our bus ran the red light at the SR 520 highway and 40th Street and the officer pulled the bus over. I was late to a meeting and thought it might be a good idea to capture the moment with my cell phone's camera. The police person had no objection to my capturing the moment.
