    New Windows Live module on MSN

    Windows Live on MSN Thanks to Robert E. and his team, you can now see Windows live content including Hotmail inbox and Spaces What's New on the MSN homepage.

    If you're not signed-in, you get prompted to do so and some links to begin activities like writing an email, starting an IM, sharing photos, and of course Adding a blog entry.Windows Live Module signed-out

    Now, if you're signed-in, you can see What's New (recent activity from your Friends) and Recent comments on your space and your Hotmail inbox (shown truncated below.)

    There are 2 aspects to the Spaces data.  In order to see the 2 latest blog comments there must... 1)  be some comments on your blog and 2) have no special permissions on viewing it (open to everyone to see).  For the 2 Recent Updates you must be...1)  subscribed to receive another user's profile updates and 2) there must be updates.
     
    As for Messenger...I'm afraid the links are currently designed to either launch your messenger client or bring it forward.  We can not show contact status at this time but we are looking into it for a future release.

    I'm with you that hopefully the module will continute to evolve and include other Windows Live services like Calendar, Events, etc.
